Release history

  1. v0.2.17

    Release notes

    Strict Snap access restored

Restores the desktop-portal access required by the embedded Harness in a strictly confined Snap, and improves controller readability.

    Linux distribution

    • Restores strict Snap portal access so the embedded Harness can interact with the desktop session under confinement.
    • Keeps the x64 and arm64 Linux package line aligned with the native release matrix.

    Controller

    • Fixes native select contrast so language and other controller choices remain readable in the active theme.

    Bundled runtime

    • Packages official, unmodified DeepSeek Harness 0.1.1-rc.2 with Node.js 24.19.0 and dsh-sidecar 0.2.6.
  2. v0.2.16

    Release notes

    Strict Snap Store distribution

Adds a strictly confined Snap distribution design and the verification path needed to release it safely.

    Snap packaging

    • Introduces the strict Snap package definition and reviewed interface policy for desktop integration.
    • Adds package, runner and artifact verification for the Snap release path.

    Documentation

    • Adds Windows runtime prerequisite guidance and refreshed product screenshots.
  3. v0.2.15

    Release notes

    Published checksum audit

Makes release publication fail closed when the public GitHub asset name or SHA-256 digest does not match the reviewed artifact.

    Release integrity

    • Audits uploaded asset names and GitHub-reported SHA-256 digests before publishing a release.
    • Prevents a checksum sidecar from being published under a filename that cannot verify the downloaded asset.

v0.2.15 supersedes v0.2.14 for downloads. Use this version or a newer release when verifying checksums.

  4. v0.2.14

    Release notes

    Native multi-architecture release line

Expands the native release matrix and strengthens runtime, installer and installation-arbitration checks.

    Native packages

    • Adds native Windows x64/arm64, macOS x64/arm64 and Linux x64/arm64 release targets.
    • Checks the packaged Node.js and node-pty architectures before artifacts are released.

    Runtime and installer recovery

    • Repairs Windows installer runtime and protocol smoke coverage.
    • Updates the bundled official Harness to 0.1.1-rc.2 and hardens install arbitration and CodeQL coverage.

The package bytes and digests are valid, but GitHub-normalized filenames made the v0.2.14 checksum sidecars impractical to use. Download v0.2.15 or later instead.

  5. v0.2.13

    Release notes

Localized controller and safer tray shortcuts

Adds a bilingual controller that follows the system by default, plus localized, state-aware tray shortcuts.

    Language

    • Adds Simplified Chinese and English dictionaries, system-language detection, manual selection and persisted preference.
    • Keeps the controller title, tray and native macOS menu synchronized with the selected language.

    Tray and dependencies

    • Adds state-gated shortcuts to open the controller or Harness, start or restart, stop and quit.
    • Updates audited pnpm, getrandom, zip and reqwest dependencies while retaining the Rust ring TLS provider.
  6. v0.2.12

    Release notes

    Safer plugin lifecycle recovery

Fixes the Windows PATH handling that blocked plugin operations and hardens install, activation and removal recovery.

    Plugin operations

    • Preserves every PATH segment when the bundled pnpm shim is placed first on Windows.
    • Strengthens the plugin install, activation and removal boundary, including secure process cleanup and recovery behavior.

    Windows runtime

    • Normalizes verbatim Node launch paths so the bundled runtime starts reliably from Windows installation paths.
