Operating system
Windows 10 version 1809 (OS build 17763) or later, including Windows 11.
MICROSOFT STORE / MSIX
DSH Desktop brings the official DeepSeek Harness web UI to Windows in a native Tauri shell, with a bundled Node.js runtime and a Rust supervisor. The Microsoft Store package is built for x64 and arm64 and does not require a system Node.js installation.
01 / COMPATIBILITY
The package targets the Windows.Desktop device family and supports both current PC architectures.
Windows 10 version 1809 (OS build 17763) or later, including Windows 11.
Native x64 and arm64 MSIX packages. Partner Center selects the matching package for the device.
Internet access is needed for your configured model provider, Cordis marketplace metadata and approved plugin downloads. The Harness UI itself is served only on a random 127.0.0.1 port.
Node.js and the pinned Harness runtime are included. No separate Node.js, terminal setup, Windows driver or NT service is installed.
02 / STORE BUILD
The Store build uses the same supervised desktop architecture with distribution-specific safety gates.
The in-app updater is disabled in the Store build. Once published, installation and updates are delivered by Microsoft Store.
Plugin installs are restricted to the repository's cordis.run reviewed allowlist. Local plugin sideloading is rejected in the Store build.
A marketplace package is integrity-checked, installed with build scripts disabled, verified and left pending. It runs only after explicit user activation.
The MSIX declares runFullTrust so the bundled Node.js process and Rust supervisor can run. It installs no driver or Windows service.
03 / DATA FLOW
Prompts, files and tool output go directly to the model endpoint you configure in Harness. Marketplace requests go to cordis.run, and approved packages are downloaded from registry.npmjs.org. The community desktop layer does not proxy that traffic and does not add analytics. Review the privacy policy before installation.
04 / AVAILABILITY
The Microsoft Store edition is awaiting publication. Until its listing is live, the public Windows download remains the checksum-verified x64 installer from GitHub Releases.
